You got what you paid for. A relatively fair price for a relatively nice room in a relatively good location.
I got some makeup on one of their towels. They proceeded to charge me 270 baht for the damage to the towel. The room only cost 750 baht, so this was more than 33% of the value of the room. Don't hotels use white towels so they can bleach these things out? I have since washed the towel and the makeup came out. I just feel they were trying to rip me off.

We stayed for 3 nights with our family of 5 (we had 2 rooms) passing through bkk. It's nothing flash and very basic, but clean. We chose this place mostly based on price and location as we were wanting to drive ourselves to Siam Water Park and Safari World and get out of bkk quickly and easily on our way to Pattaya afterwards. So location wise this place was great for us as we did not want to be in the centre of town. It was great having the skytrain station 5 mins walk from the hotel and therefore very convenient to get into the centre of town if we wanted to. Big c is only a few minutes walk away as well, very handy.
If driving there yourself, the lanes are very narrow getting to the hotel and if you have a big car it's awkward esp with the hawkers all along the sides of the narrow road plus being 2 way traffic. The bathrooms are pretty small and like many places in cheaper hotels, the shower heads are poor. If you do not particularly like hard beds, you may struggle.
